Account Executive, Northern/Southern California

Position:  Eagle Management Group is seeking a talented sales professional to join our team as a full-time Account Executive located in Northern or Southern California.

Job Summary – This position is responsible for the direct outside sales for Eagle Management Group, Inc. of our skilled labor services for tradeshow events and conventions, permanent, private and retail installations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct sales of company services, including prospecting leads, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating and closing the sale
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Keep informed of industry trends and competitive activities as it relates to the tradeshow/convention/labor management industries
  • Develop new methods and opportunities to attain business
  • Participate in training, seminars, meetings, and industry event/tradeshows as required
  • Investigate customer complaints and recommend or facilitate solutions
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Sales Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospecting – Search out viable new customers using available resources
  • Strategy – Research and understand the clients needs, organization and identify the decision makers
  • Presentations – Make presentations to new prospects to introduce our services and abilities and to identify customer needs, wants, concerns and how EMG can aid them in meeting their objectives and meet their needs
  • Retention – Work to maintain 100% retention of current client base while continuing to garner new business opportunities within exhibiting client structure


  • Minimum 3 years relevant sales experience in the tradeshow industry
  • Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from a four year university, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated sales, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively communicate, both oral and written, with all levels of internal & external customers
  • Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment
  • Travel, as necessary, for client or company business
  • Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft word, excel, data management, Internet, E-mail
